Community matters

Since the election, I have been running through the gammut of emotions. Anger, defeat, fear, resignation, proactiveness, reactionary, etc.

Conscientious objector

Back when Hobby Lobby won its bullshit case in the Supreme Court, I read an article written by a Jewish journalist who discussed the main issue with the case Hobby Lobby brought to the court. They claimed to be a “conscientious objector” and, therefore, wanted the law to change to fit their beliefs.

Emotional Connections

It seems like we are living in a world where everyone wants emotional connections, but no one actually either knows what that means, or they think they know and are very wrong. All they know is that they are lonely and have needs they can’t fulfill within themselves, and they need to find someone outside of themselves to stop the loneliness.

The Magic Begins!

I mentioned in a previous post how I’m not really good with the whole daily gratitude thing. I have truly struggled with this concept since I first heard of it, and it’s a habit that I really just can’t get into.

A Little Housekeeping

We are knee-deep in spring, and I’m a bit late at doing some spring cleaning, both physically and mentally.

Generational Disappointment

On my pathway to and from work, I drive past an old brick home. It has been empty for as long as I have lived in the area, which, while not that long, has been almost 10 years. A few years back, the home had been cleared out of all items and the windows removed. It looked like some long needed renovations were going to start taking place.

Manifesting Thoughts

Do you think manifesting is something everyone can do?

Do you think some people just have the natural skill to manifest things?
