I decided to start the journey to reconnect with my pagan spirit a while back ago. Over 6 months, really, when I decided to get back into tarot, intention and general creative visualization. Since these all go hand in hand for me, it made sense.

The stress of ignorance
While I was at work a while back, I noticed a magazine that I used to love, so much so, my mom had gotten me a subscription to it.
Excuses are not acceptable currency
The one thing in this world that I will never accept are excuses. I don’t accept them from others and I don’t accept them from myself. I find excuses disrespectful, disingenuous, and a fake apology. Excuses provide nothing of substance and allow the person to shirk their personal accountability.
Tenuous powers
Democracy is a fragile thing. This was learned yesterday on a variety of fronts for me. Democracy is a great freedom to have, but it can’t go without strong checks and balances. If we don’t show intolerance for the intolerant, we lose our freedom of democracy.

Intention setting day!
New paths, new intentions, and good food! A perfect day to start a new chapter!
Starting with intention
I have never been a person to stay up till midnight on New Year’s Eve. This year won’t be any different in that aspect. I’m just not a late night person. But I did make intentful actions today.
We all fall down
We had our first snow of the year. I love snow. I don’t think I will ever not like snow. Last week, we got 8 inches of it. Outside of the 36 inches we got one year all in one night, that is the most snow that has fallen since I moved here 5 years ago.
A little bit of spirit
Under most circumstances, I don’t make fun of people’s beliefs, because, honestly, I don’t think anyone has it right. I just worry about those whose beliefs become their whole idently (and that goes for anything, not just religion) because that isn’t healthy. Beliefs should enhance your life, not dictate it
