I have been spending a lot to time decorating my house the last month. I think it has started to become an obsession, but since it improves my living space, I’m not going to seek treatment.

This year’s garden is amazing! All the soil additives and treatments have paid off amazingly! This is the purple bok choy, beet leaves, and peas that I harvested this morning for an Asian salad later today. The lettuce is still going strong, being shaded by the rutabaga and beet leaves. The herbs are abundant this year! Just a small amount taken from the rosemary bushes planted last year. The ones we planted were as big as this bundle and they weren’t heavily pruned to get this!

An Update

It’s been a hot minute since I last posted. Life/work has been somewhat wild, and I have been fighting health issues and escapist desires.

Weekend Grab Bag

This weekend was such a mixed bag of experiences. Saturday was exceptionally cram packed and honestly, I took a full Sunday to recover and kind of wish I had given myself today to fully get back to myself.

Generational Disappointment

On my pathway to and from work, I drive past an old brick home. It has been empty for as long as I have lived in the area, which, while not that long, has been almost 10 years. A few years back, the home had been cleared out of all items and the windows removed. It looked like some long needed renovations were going to start taking place.
