Weekend realities
I realized over the weekend that I need to prepare for being unemployed. I have been hoping beyond hope that I’d be hired long before the deadline, but now, I am not so sure.
An Update
It’s been a hot minute since I last posted. Life/work has been somewhat wild, and I have been fighting health issues and escapist desires.
Conscientious objector
Back when Hobby Lobby won its bullshit case in the Supreme Court, I read an article written by a Jewish journalist who discussed the main issue with the case Hobby Lobby brought to the court. They claimed to be a “conscientious objector” and, therefore, wanted the law to change to fit their beliefs.
Limiting Thoughts
One of the things that I think I need a lot of work on is limiting thoughts. Those thoughts in the back of your mind that immediately override all the working thoughts I’m trying to manifest with.
The Magic Begins!
I mentioned in a previous post how I’m not really good with the whole daily gratitude thing. I have truly struggled with this concept since I first heard of it, and it’s a habit that I really just can’t get into.

Post Covid Reflection
Unlike everyone else who was bemoaning lockdown, not being able to get out, do things, see people, etc., I was actually happy in my solitude. I had my kids at home at the start, but aside from them, I was content, ridding myself of the extreme burnout symptoms and finding ways to mentally heal.
